FAQs

How is print technology improving the marketing collateral for direct mail?
Print technologies like QR codes, augmented reality, etc. have transformed print marketing. They have made printing as interactive and flexible as web communication. Both EP and inkjet technologies have taken it to the next level and print is now able to offer completely customized services for direct mail.

What size do you offer?
A 12×6 Jumbo Card, 6.25×9 Value Card or an 8.5×11 Showcase Card. Printed on #80 gloss paper (.008″ thick) with .25″ margins. Other sizes are available upon request.

How much does it cost?
Pricing starts as low as .26¢ per piece! See our Rate Card

Who can I mail to?
With Chase Press EDDM you can mail to wherever your customers are! Each zip code is comprised of many different routes. Each of these routes contain approximately 300-600 homes and businesses. You can target whichever mailing route you wish. You can send to any route in your town, in your county, in your state or even in another state…for the same low price!

How long does it take?
As soon as you approve your designed EDDM, turnaround for printing is about 5 business days and then given to USPS to be delivered.

What is a carrier/mailing route?
Households served by an individual mail carrier within a five-digit zip code area. The carrier route is used to divide mailing lists.

Does my mail deliver to every home, apartment, business, and PO Box?
With EDDM™, your mailing delivers to every mailbox along the chosen routes — delivered by USPS Letter Carriers. You MUST deliver to all residential addresses, however, you may opt out of including businesses and/or PO Boxes at no additional cost.

What is the minimum or maximum we can mail?
If you are mailing through Every Door Direct Mail “Retail” you can mail as little as 200 pieces and as many as 5000 per day per post office or utilizing EDDM “Commercial” mail as many as you like!

What are the response rates?
This is a very common question but there is no accurate way to predict results. Like all advertising, your response rates will be affected by many factors including, but not limited to: your offers, your reputation, local competition, local economic factors, local events, supply and demand, and even the weather (snow for example). With this in mind, direct mail is an extremely effective way of reaching new prospects. There is no better way to guarantee that your offers will reach the hands of prospective customers, fast.

Can I print the cards on my home printer?
We don’t recommend that you try to print these on your home printer because the paper stock required is too thick and the quality will not be the same as if it was printed by a commercial printing company. Chase Press offers affordable print rates to help customers take advantage of this new program.

Will you prepare the mailings for me?
Chase Press will design, print, address and have your cards mailed diectly to the mailing route of your choice!
